Comprehensive Hearing Testing
We see children from 2.5 years and older as well as adults and seniors. A hearing assessment generally takes fifteen to twenty minutes, followed by interpretation and recommendations. A complete report is provided to you and to your physician.
Hearing Aid Sales and Services
Following a hearing assessment and medical management, an appropriate candidate learns about his/her hearing instrument options. The fitting involves digitally programming instruments for each individual’s unique hearing and listening needs, and discussing the use and care of the devices. Follow-up visits provide support and adjustments.
Swim Molds, Earmolds, Musician Ear Plugs
People, whether hearing-impaired or not, often need custom-fit ear pieces for a variety of reasons. These include securing a Bluetooth phone headset comfortably and for better audibility; musician’s plugs to safely listen to music with optimum clarity; hearing instrument earmolds; and swim plugs to keep water from a swimmer’s or bather’s ears. The ear shapes are quickly preserved by an impression of the ears. These impressions are made into the requested product by a laboratory. We ensure comfort at the mold fitting appointment.
This is an additional test during the hearing assessment to determine the frequency and intensity of the ear noises that a patient may be experiencing.
Assistive Listening Devices
Many people experience difficulty hearing in select situations such as on the telephone or while watching TV. There are many products available to help make listening easier and more enjoyable for these venues. At Alliance Audiology we will educate you about these various options, and help you find the device that best suits your needs and your budget.
Dizziness and Vertigo Evaluations
We perform a detailed evaluation to help determine if a patient’s inner ears are responsible for his/her vertigo, lightheadedness, or imbalance. For these patients, vestibular rehabilitation may be appropriate to help improve and, in many cases, eliminate symptoms. We will assess and interpret the findings and get the patient started in the right direction.
We accept most commercial and government insurance plans, including Medicare. We have a full-time staff dedicated to helping you with insurance matters.
Some insurance companies will provide coverage for hearing aids, while others will not. Our skilled staff will be happy to help you determine what benefits are provided by your insurance plan.
Regular hearing tests are recommended for people of all ages for a variety of reasons. For children, hearing is a crucial component of the learning process. An undiagnosed hearing impairment can cause difficulty acquiring learning, language, and social skills. In adults, hearing loss often comes on so gradually you are unaware of the problem until it has progressed beyond a point where it is easily treatable. We offer comprehensive hearing testing for children 2.5 years old and up, as well as adults and seniors. A hearing assessment is quick, generally taking fifteen to twenty minutes, followed by interpretation of the results and recommendations. A complete report is provided to you and your physician.

Custom Ear Molds
When you choose a hearing aid to fit your lifestyle and hearing needs, you’ll want to ensure you receive optimum performance and comfort. Custom-fit ear molds are the perfect solution: created from an impression of your ear canal or outer ear, they are shaped to fit comfortably and easily, whether designed to be worn in the ear canal or the concha (bowl) of the outer ear. Ear molds aren’t designed solely for hearing aids; they are also invaluable in helping you achieve a comfortable, secure fit for earplugs, Bluetooth headsets, and other in-ear devices. After taking an impression of your ears – a process that is quick and comfortable – we’ll have a laboratory design the mold for whichever product you desire.
Tinnitus – a bothersome condition variously described as a ringing, buzzing, hissing, roaring, clicking, or whooshing sound in the ears – is a widespread problem affecting 1 out of 5 people. It can be either intermittent or continuous, and often interferes with a person’s ability to hear or concentrate. It may be a symptom of an underlying health problem, or could be an adverse reaction to certain medications you are taking. Regardless of the cause, treatments that offer relief are available. To determine which will work for you, we offer tinnitus evaluation in addition to our regular hearing assessment. This test will determine the frequency and intensity of ear noises you are experiencing, and can assist us in coming up with a treatment plan.

Dizziness & Vertigo Evaluations
Dizziness and vertigo can be frightening, but are rarely indicative of a serious problem. Many of us experience a “rush of blood to the head” and the accompanying sensation of lightheadedness on occasion, or feel that our environment is moving around us. A number of factors can cause this, the majority of them benign. Still, as unpleasant as the experience can be, and with the potential for a more serious underlying condition, we recommend you come in for testing if you experience any unexplained episodes of dizziness. We’ll perform a detailed evaluation to help determine if your inner ears are responsible for your vertigo, lightheadedness, or imbalance. We offer solutions such as vestibular rehabilitation to help improve and, in many cases, eliminate symptoms. We will assess and interpret the findings and get you started in the right direction.
If earplugs are a regular part of your life, you’ll want to consider custom molded earplugs. Designed from an impression of your ear canal, custom earplugs allow for unparalleled comfort and safety. They won’t fall out or hurt like standard earplugs might, and you can rest assured they’ll block the right amount of noise, giving you better hearing protection and a more enjoyable listening experience.
Custom earplugs are available for a variety of situations. Musician’s earplugs offer high fidelity and sharp clarity, reducing sound levels so that music and speech are clear and natural, while offering protection from the long-term effects of noise exposure. Swimmer’s earplugs prevent moisture from entering the ear canals, protecting against dangerous infections and abnormal bone growth. Earplugs for hunting and shooting feature acoustic filters and electronics designed to protect your ears from loud gunshots while allowing normal sounds to filter through. These are perfect for people in law enforcement.
No matter your needs, we ensure comfort during your mold fitting appointment, and superior protection in a variety of potentially dangerous situations.
